About oral presentations

Oral presentations are a key element of the Solar World Congresses scientific program. During the abstract review process, SWC 2023 reviewers and Theme Chairs will decide which submissions will be invited to present their work as oral presentations.

Oral presentations are grouped into technical sessions according to their theme. In general technical sessions lasts between 60 to 90 minutes. During this time, authors have approx.15 minutes each to present their work to the audience. Each technical session is hosted by one to two Session Chairs who will introduce the session and it's individual speakers and who will moderate the Q/A between the audience and the presenting authors.

Presenting authors will be provided with all necessary information on how to prepare their presentations, the technical requirements and where to submit their presentations on site several weeks in advance of the congress.

Oral sessions are a great way to present your work to the solar energy community and to benefit from direct feedback and questions.

The deadline for abstracts has passed. Please email swc@ises.org for any questions.

Please note that the final decision on the format of your presentation (oral or poster presentation) will be made by the reviewers and Theme Chairs.
